Grania trained originally as a mechanical engineer at Trinity College Dublin. However, after working for several years in the mobile telecoms industry she found herself drawn to a change in career. She retrained as a dental surgeon in UCC and qualified in 2008. She loved Cork so much that she and her family stayed after graduating and decided to settle here. She opened Cork Dental Care in 2009 with the help of her husband, John and together they have built a fantastic team. Grania is an elite provider of Six Month Smiles in Ireland and helping patients have confidence with their smile is Dr.Grania’s goal.

Emma Vahey qualified in UCC in 2005. She completed vocational training in Cork and general professional training in Cardiff, where she gained experience in surgical extractions and helping nervous patients. She then spent a year as an Senior House Officer in Cork University Dental Hospital where she was able to pass on her experience and knowledge to the students. Emma loves and enjoys dentistry, helping patients smile with her 10+ years of experience. In her spare time, she loves to play tag rugby and tennis.
